L-phenylalanine. L-phenylalanine is the main raw material of sweet aspartame (Aspartame), which is an important food additive in the synthesis of  L-phenylalanine from cinnamic acid.


The use of cinnamic acid to prevent mold, antisepsis and sterilization can be applied to food, vegetables, fruits preservation, anti-corrosion.


In agroindustry, cinnamic acid is used as growth promoter and long-acting fungicide for fruit and vegetable preservative.


Cinnamic acid used in preserves can improve the taste and flavor, especially in food preservation, with a non-polluting environmental protection preservatives. Alternatives (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, and other products) can also be used in wine to make it lustrous.
